Born in Boston, Roger Wade Basset received his formal art training in London, graduating from the Royal Academy of Arts. His exposure to the European artistic heritage was quite influential in his stylistic development. Whether the subject be portraiture, figures,lanscape or still-life, his skill with the brush is evident. His works are represented in private collections in Europe as well as North and South America. .
